This website began with one unforgettable project! A few years ago, my husband told me there was no way we could widen our kitchen or add a pass-through window into the living room. The wall would have to be cut, it would be too complicated, and it just wasn’t something we could do ourselves.
But the idea stayed with me…
One day while he was at work, I decided to stop wondering if it was possible and start finding out. I gathered my tools, took a deep breath, and cut into the wall.
When he came home, there was a literal hole between the kitchen and living room.
That moment perfectly captured something I’ve come to believe deeply:
You don’t always need permission, expertise, or perfect confidence to create change. Sometimes you just need the courage to start.
And that’s where the name Watch Me…DIY was born.
Underestimate me…that will be fun!
What We Do:
I’ve discovered that DIY is about much more than home improvement. For me, it’s about transforming spaces in ways that bring calm, beauty, and functionality into everyday life. It’s about learning as you go, trusting yourself, and seeing the tangible results of your effort.
I’m not a professional contractor. I simply started with curiosity, determination, and a desire to improve my surroundings — and I’ve learned along the way that most people are far more capable than they think.
